In seventh grade I was a future problem solver. No joke. Next in line to the mathletes, we were sent to state competitions to present infinite solutions to hypothetical world issues. It was one of my favorite childhood memories, next to circus camp.
It was also the start of my design training. A sweet mix of problem solving, strategic thinking, design tools and a group open to collaboration – that’s what makes my design heart go pitter patter. Over the course of my 15 years in design, my title, the teams I’ve led, and my point-of-view have adapted and changed, but the yearn to solve problems has never shed.
I love crafting a solid campaign. A world that makes you stop scrolling and take a second look. Gifting an audience with brand experiences that wrap them with emotion. Some career highlights have been taking a children’s research hospital experience from paper to pixel, making getting rid of bed bugs an approachable (dare I say likeable) topic, and traveling all over the US with the CEO of Happyness to meet some winning small businesses.
